Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility

At the core of the Golden Gate Chapter's mission lies a deep commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA). We proudly uphold a tapestry of diverse backgrounds, talents, and viewpoints, cultivating an environment that empowers each member on personal and professional journeys. By valuing the uniqueness within each individual, we nurture an inclusive culture where every member is not only embraced, but treasured.

DEIA is embedded in all chapter functions.  In particular the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee works to ensure the chapter:

  • Provides accessibility at all meetings.
  • Presents a DEIA education session at minimum annually.
  • Includes diverse members in its annual leadership nomination and selection cycle.
