President's Message

A Message for your President!

 And We’re Off to the Races . . .!

On Saturday, February 10, a group of Golden Gate Chapter members teamed up with members of the East Bay Chapter to participate in the Bay Breeze 5K/10K Race/Walk along the San Leandro Marina.  It was a lovely morning to be out there running/sprinting/walking/ strolling with our colleagues and more importantly the Golden Gate team added another $1,200 to the Chapter’s fundraising coffers for the wildfire relief efforts up in North Bay.  For those of you who donated to support our Chapter’s efforts, a BIG Thank You!  We are so close to reaching our goal of  $2,500 with a matching donation from the Chapter.  Way to go GGALA!  Also, a big shout out to our sister chapter – EBALA – for having fun with us and showing their commitment to service!  You Rock EBALA!

Diversity Tools and Resources: Diversity and inclusion are considered critical elements in hiring and maintaining a dynamic, harmonious workplace. A collection of resources helps law firms measure their diversity and inclusivity and implement best practices for improving workplace culture.

Research: Every year, the Association publishes the Compensation and Benefits Survey to make key data about legal management positions available to members and law offices. ALA also conducts additional surveys and occasionally creates white papers.
